Michael Coleman

Michael Coleman is a CFD Engineer at BakerRisk since February 2023, following a robust career in education and engineering. From August 2016 to February 2023, Michael served as a High School Teacher in the San Antonio School District, developing and teaching courses in engineering design, AP physics, and scientific research, while also mentoring aspiring engineering students and facilitating industry certifications. Prior internship experiences at Southwest Research Institute involved fluid analysis in microgravity and tank sloshing validation studies. Previous roles include Mechanical Engineer at ABS Consulting focusing on petrochemical facility safety and hazards, and Mechanical Design Engineer II at Baker Hughes, where design and testing of sand control equipment were key responsibilities. Michael holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
