Dr. Ahmad Salem

Dr. Ahmad Salem currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Commercial & Business Development at AIQ and the Head of Commercial for the Energy Division at G42, positions held since January 2021 and November 2020, respectively. With extensive experience in strategic leadership, Dr. Salem has been instrumental in developing commercial strategies that align with organizational objectives across the UAE and internationally. Previous roles include Executive Business Operations for Baker Hughes in the MENAT/Pakistan region, where the focus was on driving profitable growth and operational excellence, and account management at GE Power, where responsibilities included overseeing account planning and relationship management with ADNOC. Dr. Salem began the career in the pharmaceutical industry with roles at Therabel and SOL Group and holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Université libre de Bruxelles, alongside an Executive Management program certification from IMD and a Master's degree in International Marketing from HEC Liège.
