Luis Gomez

Luis Gomez is an experienced Lead Applications Engineer at Baker Hughes, with a career spanning from 2006 to the present, including positions as Applications Engineer and Technical Support Engineer. Since March 2022, Luis has worked in a leadership capacity, following an earlier role optimizing Drill Bit applications for the Midland/Delaware Basin and serving as a WellCAD specialist. Prior experiences include providing technical support and analysis for drilling performance improvement in various Latin American locations and contributing as a research assistant at the Oklahoma Geological Survey. Luis holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad del Zulia.
