Marcelo Galardo is a Principal Engineer at Baker Hughes since July 2017, specializing in pipe design and flexible pipe product development. Previously, Marcelo served as Lead Engineer in R&D Systems Engineering and Senior Systems Engineer for Flexible Pipes at GE Oil & Gas from August 2011 to June 2017, where responsibilities included managing New Product Introduction programs and maintaining the flexible pipe structures portfolio. Marcelo's educational background includes a degree from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica Celso Suckow da Fonseca and a postgraduate qualification in Offshore Systems Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Additionally, Marcelo has studied at the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
