Steve Harmon

Steve Harmon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical training and engineering within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Sr Staff Technical Instructor at Baker Hughes since July 2019, Steve has successfully led training rig control system upgrades and implemented innovative training methodologies. Prior roles at Baker Hughes include Senior Staff Training Manager, Account Manager, and Senior Project Engineer, where Steve achieved significant revenue growth and contributed to product development, earning multiple patents. In addition to industry experience, Steve has dedicated time as a Unit and Roundtable Commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America, supporting effective program operations. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and served in the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer from 1985 to 2008.
