Stuart Murchie

Stuart Murchie is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Intervention Product Line Director at Baker Hughes and the Executive Director of the Intervention and Coiled Tubing Association (ICoTA). With an extensive career spanning over three decades, Murchie previously held leadership roles at Altus Intervention as President for Middle East Asia Pacific and EVP of Technology Commercialization, and at Qinterra Technologies as President Operations & Chief Operating Officer. Murchie’s prior experience includes various senior positions at Schlumberger, such as Vice President of Well Intervention for Asia and Regional Vice President for Europe/Africa/Caspian, showcasing expertise in operations, technology, and management across multiple regions. Murchie's educational background includes a BSc. Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dundee.
