Brian King

Brian King is currently a board member at Baker University. Prior to that, they worked as counsel for Klemchuk LLP from April 2018 to April 2019. Before that, they were an associate at Reed & Scardino LLP from September 2014 to September 2017. Brian has experience in commercial litigation in state and federal court, with a focus on intellectual property litigation and licensing. Brian has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in local, regional, and national matters concerning trademarks, patent infringement, labor and employment issues, property disputes, and breach of contract. Some notable cases Brian has worked on include being the attorney in charge of multimillion dollar patent infringement cases related to patents concerning telecommunications and digital broadcasting, lead associate on several jury trials in the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas related to patents concerning telecommunications, and being the attorney in charge of product defect and breach of contract suit between large multinational oil and gas services companies regarding sale of alleged defective casing tools. Brian has obtained favorable settlements in all of these disputes.
