Paul Sugar

Paul Sugar is a seasoned legal professional specializing in construction and procurement law. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Baker Donelson since January 2017, Paul has built upon a strong foundation established during a nearly three-decade tenure as a Shareholder at Ober Kaler, where concentration in the same legal areas prevailed until the firm's merger with Baker Donelson. Earlier in the career, Paul held the position of Deputy Counsel in the Contract Litigation Unit at the Maryland Attorney General's Office from 1982 to 1987. Paul Sugar earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington & Lee University.
