Donald Luther

Donald Luther has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. Donald currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Compliance at Bakkt since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Gusto from 2019 to 2021, where they held roles in Legal & Compliance and Risk.

Before joining Gusto, Donald worked at Vantiv as a Leader, Regulatory Compliance from 2017 to 2018. At Vantiv, they focused on driving economic sanctions and suspicious activity programs.

From 2016 to 2017, Donald worked as a Senior AML/BSA Consultant at Credere Group, providing consulting services on AML/BSA matters in the financial services industry.

Earlier in their career, Donald held various roles at U.S. Bank from 2009 to 2016, including Vice President, Corporate AML and Vice President, International Compliance. Donald was responsible for expanding AML programs and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Before joining U.S. Bank, Donald served as the Head of Compliance at Elavon Financial Services Ltd from 2005 to 2009, supporting the acquiring business in Europe. Prior to that, they worked at Elavon, Inc. from 2002 to 2005 as the Director of Compliance, addressing a range of compliance matters.

Donald has also been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors for England and Wales by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
