Seth W. Alvord

Mr. Alvord is the Founder and Managing Partner of Balance Point Capital. Prior to joining Balance Point Capital, he held various positions in the investment banking industry, including the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Alvord holds a B.A. from Connecticut College and a M.B.A. from Cornell University where he was awarded the A. Donald Kelso Award. He is a former Trustee and Vice Chair of the Northfield Mount Hermon School where he served on the Investment Committee and as Chair of the Financial Policy Committee.

Mr. Alvord lives in New Canaan, CT with his wife Sara and twin boys, Jackson and Carter. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family on the coast in the summers and on the slopes in the winter.
