Ramanan Ramaiyer

Ramanan Ramaiyer has over 25 years of experience in the software engineering and quality assurance industry. Ramanan began their career in 1995 as a Software Engineer at Hewlett-Packard, where they developed automation suites using XRunner for HP-OpenView applications. In 1997, they joined Exodus Communications as a Senior Software Engineer, creating managed applications and providing solutions for data center customers. In 2003, they became a Senior Test Engineer at Blue Coat Systems, initially as a consultant and later transitioning to a regular employee position. At the same time, they also worked as a System Integration Engineer - Consultant at Sun Microsystems, developing automation suites and testing applications on blade server products for a telco. In 2005, they joined Cisco Systems as Manager of Engineering for the Data Center Group through the FineGround acquisition. Ramanan then moved to Joingo in 2013 as a QA Manager, working on location-based marketing and mobile kiosk solutions. In 2014, they became a Senior QA Manager at FireEye, Inc. / Mandiant, designing test strategies, developing test plans, and implementing a fully automated end-to-end testing solution. In 2018, they joined Corelight as Senior QA Manager / QE Lead and Secureworks as Principal QA Engineer. Ramanan is currently working as Director of Engineering, QA at Balbix.

Ramanan Ramaiyer obtained a Masters degree in Physics from Annamalai University.
