Jeff Mccartney

Jeff McCartney is currently the Director of Information Technology at Balchem. Prior to this, they were the Information Systems Manager at Crystal Run Healthcare from September 2001 to December 2002. In this role, they were responsible for managing, training, and mentoring a team of 5 employees to effectively manage the IT service lifecycle. Jeff also ensured that IT solutions were aligned with the goals of the practice while maximizing a return on investment, ensuring security, integrity and configuration compliance of all systems. Additionally, Jeff developed, oversaw and reported on a 1.5 million dollar IT operating budget. Jeff evaluated and made recommendations regarding all aspects of network, telecommunication hardware, support, monitoring as well as enterprise software.

During their time at Crystal Run Healthcare, Jeff accomplished designing and implementing a physical and logical IT infrastructure including IP schema and subnet plan in order to facilitate network stability, growth and scalability. Jeff was also responsible for managing all aspects of building out a physical IT and telecommunication infrastructure as well as secure data center and security system in a new facility. Lastly, they facilitated the implementation, integration and deployment of enterprise practice management, electronic medical record and medical lab management systems.

Jeff McCartney has an MBA in Information Systems Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a BS in Business Management from York College of Pennsylvania, and a NY State Regents High School Diploma in General from Monsignor Farrell High School. Jeff is certified by the EC-Council as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and by (ISC)² as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

They work with Brent Tignor - Vice President, Human Resources, Martin Bengtsson - Chief Financial Officer, and Michael Sestrick - Chief Technology Officer. Their manager is Ted Harris, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
