Uwe Hensch

Uwe Hensch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Business Unit Manager for Heat Exchangers & Reactors at Balcke-Dürr since July 2023, Uwe previously held the position of Head of Product Development at NEM Energy b.v. from December 2022 to June 2023. Uwe’s expertise in product development was further honed at Siemens Energy, where Uwe was Head of Product Development & Licensing from October 2017 to November 2022, focusing on Heat Recovery Steam Generators for various industries. Uwe also managed NEM Power-Systems in Germany for over 16 years, fulfilling roles from Managing Director to Engineering Manager. Uwe's early career includes significant positions at L&C Steinmüller, leading design teams and instructing technical education. Uwe holds a Dipl Ing (BA) in Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineering from DHBW Mannheim and an Industriemechaniker Maschinen und Systemtechnik qualification from L&C Steinmüller GmbH.
