Simon Hanbury has over 25 years of work experience, starting with Powell & Bonnell Design in 1996. Simon began as an Administrator and progressed to roles such as Staff Accountant and Office Manager, contributing to the growth and development of the business operations. In 2005, they became the Business Manager at Graham & deAraujo Design Studio, where they managed operational, administrative, financial, human resource, technological, and facility-related aspects of the firm. From 2006 to 2008, they served as the Manager of Finance and Administration at NSDA Architects, responsible for day-to-day operations and collaborating with the firm's partners. Simon then became the Chief Operating Officer at Roper Greyell LLP from 2008 to 2015, managing various business and administrative aspects of the law firm. Currently, Simon is the Chief Operating Officer at Baldface Lodge since 2017, leading all business operations and driving major strategic projects.

Simon Hanbury obtained a Certificate in Professional Project Management from UBC Sauder School of Business in 2019. Simon also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, and Psychology from Western University between 1987 and 1990.
