Robert Beattie

Robert Beattie serves as Deputy Fire Chief and Fire Official for the North Plainfield Fire Department, focusing on fire prevention code administration and training coordination. A volunteer event organizer for the St. Baldrick's Foundation since 2004, Robert also holds the position of President of the North Plainfield Firemen's Relief Association. Previous roles include part-time instructor at Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy, Fire Inspector at Howell Fire Bureau, and a Captain/EMT with the North Plainfield Fire Department. Robert has experience as 2nd District Vice President for the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey and has worked in various positions in the automotive service industry before transitioning to a full-time fire service career. Robert's educational background includes attendance at Somerset County Voc-Tech High School.
