Valerie Marchand Welsh

Valerie Marchand Welsh is an experienced professional in college admissions and counseling, currently serving as the Director of College Counseling at The Baldwin School since May 2016. Prior to this role, Valerie held various positions at the University of Pennsylvania, including Associate Dean of Admissions and Director of On Campus Programs, from July 2005 to April 2016. Valerie also worked as a Resident Director at Lesley University from 2000 to 2004 and gained early experience as a Marketing Analyst at Hay Group and as a Currency Trader and Market Analyst at Ruesch International. Valerie's academic credentials include a College Counseling Certificate from UC San Diego, a Master's degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University, and a Bachelor's degree in French & International Business from the University of Maryland.
