Julie Carter is an experienced college counselor with a robust background in educational leadership and student services. Currently serving as the Director of College Counseling at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Julie has been guiding students through the college search and application process since July 2017. Previously, Julie held the position of Associate Director of College Counseling at Berkeley Preparatory School, where collaborative efforts enhanced the college guidance program for high school students. Early career experiences at the University of North Florida included roles as Assistant Director of One Stop Student Services and Admissions Coordinator, where Julie developed exemplary student relationships and provided critical support in admissions and financial aid processes. Julie holds an M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Administration with a concentration in Counseling, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in Psychology, both from the University of North Florida.
