Pranas Žiaukas

Pranas Žiaukas has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Student Research Fellow and Consultant at Kaunas University of Technology, where they authored multiple internationally indexed publications and provided consultancy in advanced mathematics. In 2015, they worked as a Software Developer at Present Connection, where they provided project support and analysis, and implemented models, algorithms, and back-end solutions. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at E-Bros as a Software Engineer, where they analyzed and transformed real-time data in a sensor monitoring platform. In 2019, they worked at Hyarchis as a Data Scientist, where they created machine learning tools for the document management system and its cloud-native implementation. Currently, they are working at balena as an Analytics Engineer, where they are developing the analytics platform for an infrastructure as a service (IaaS) solution for device fleets.

Pranas Žiaukas has a long educational history. Pranas attended Gymnasium of Juozas Lukša from 2002 to 2010, obtaining a Secondary School degree. Pranas then attended Kaunas University of Technology from 2010 to 2014, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics. Pranas also attended Lund University from 2014 to 2015, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics. Finally, they attended Kaunas University of Technology again from 2014 to 2016, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, Pranas Žiaukas has obtained two certifications: Triplebyte certified Generalist Software Engineering from Triplebyte in October 2019 and dbt Fundamentals from dbt Labs in December 2021.
