Vipul Gupta

Vipul Gupta has a diverse range of work experience in various technology-related roles. Vipul is currently working at balena as a Product Lead, where they are responsible for building Hardware-in-loop Testing (HiLT) pipelines and scaling balenaOS support. Vipul has also led development efforts to create a Testing as a Service product for customers. Prior to this role, Vipul worked as a Lead Documentation Engineer at balena, where they automated the generation of Getting Started guides and migrated the static site hosting solution, resulting in significant cost savings.

Before joining balena, Vipul worked at Mixster as a Technical Documentation Specialist, focusing on building documentation pipelines and scalable processes. Vipul also volunteered at PyCon India, where they served as the Comms Workgroup lead and contributed to the growth of the conference.

Vipul's work experience also includes mentoring students in the Google Code-In program and serving on the Global Outreach Team at Sugar Labs. Vipul has participated in the Google Summer of Code program twice, working with the Python Software Foundation and the Scrapy Project on various projects, including the development of a new testing library. Additionally, Vipul has been involved with Mozilla as a Lead Facilitator and PyCon India 2019 as a Development Manager.
