Jonathan Rimmer

Jonathan Rimmer is an experienced professional in the ground engineering field, currently serving as a Bid Manager at Balfour Beatty plc since June 2024. Prior to this role, Jonathan worked as an Estimating Manager at Aarsleff Ground Engineering Ltd from August 2023 to February 2024, and held the position of Senior Estimator at VolkerLaser from June 2021 to August 2023. Jonathan's extensive career began at Bachy Soletanche, where over a span of 14 years, roles included Pre-Construction Manager North/Scotland and Estimator, with significant experience in estimating, design, and operations for various piling works and specialist geotechnics. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and an HNC in Building Studies from The University of Bolton, alongside a solid academic foundation from Merchant Taylors Boys School.
