Nicholas Watson

Nicholas Watson is an experienced project and programme manager with a strong background in rail and civil engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Programme Manager at Balfour Beatty plc, Nicholas oversees various rail civils contracts within the Western Region, having previously held senior project management roles within the same company focusing on the OLE division. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as a Senior Project Manager at Track Partnership, managing Deep Tube P&C renewals, and held project management positions at Balfour Beatty Rail and Network Rail, overseeing significant track and signalling projects. Nicholas began career development as a Development Technician at Wessex Water. Academically, Nicholas holds a Master's degree in Project and Enterprise Management from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Geography and Science Communication from Royal Holloway, University of London.
