Emily Beard

Emily Beard is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management. Currently serving as Global Director of Procurement at Ball Corporation since June 2014, Emily previously held roles including Senior Global Procurement Manager and Senior Buyer. Prior experience includes leadership as Senior Buyer and Global Creativity Team Leader at General Motors, where Emily directed global teams in supplier sourcing initiatives and cost-reduction workshops. Additionally, as a Commodity Buyer at DMAX-LTD, Emily developed sourcing strategies and negotiations for vehicle programs and ensured successful launches through collaboration with engineering and manufacturing. Earlier experience at General Motors and Comerica involved supplier relationship management, financial analysis, and operational oversight. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising Management from Michigan State University.
