Erik Gatewood is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in innovation and product management within the packaging industry. Currently serving as the VP and Global Head of Innovation & Product Management at Ball Corporation since May 2002, Erik has held multiple leadership positions, focusing on global strategic platform R&D, sustainability enablement, and intellectual property portfolio management. Prior roles include Vice President of Global Product & Process Innovation, Senior Director of Global Product Innovation, and various managerial positions in product development and process engineering, showcasing a robust track record of driving innovation and efficiency across diverse product lines. Erik's educational background includes a degree in Plastics Engineering from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus, along with additional management training from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Phoenix.
