Bill Doeckel is a seasoned professional in the horticulture industry with extensive experience in sustainability, marketing, and business development. Currently serving as the Global Lead Sustainability at Ball Horticultural Company since January 2007, Bill has spearheaded initiatives related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals and has established sustainable practices across over 30 global locations. Bill's prior roles include Director of Retail & Brands, where strategy development for business units was key, and General Manager of Ball Innovations, leading sustainability efforts in horticulture. Furthermore, Bill has held significant positions in marketing and business development at both Ball Seed Company and Vaughan's (Syngenta), achieving notable success in sales and brand creation. An MBA in Organizational Leadership from North Central College and a BS in Horticulture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign complement Bill's impressive career background.
