Chris Barbey

Chris Barbey serves as the Bioinformatics and Data Sciences Lead at Ball Horticultural Company since November 2020. Previously, Chris held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Florida from January 2019 to November 2020 and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the same institution from 2014 to 2018. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Scientist at J.R. Simplot Company from January 2011 to August 2014 and a Research Assistant position at Boise State University in May 2010. Chris Barbey earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Florida and completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Boise State University.
