Anand Marri

Anand Marri currently serves as the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Ball State University, a position held since April 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing the university's academic mission and supporting leadership across academic units. Previously, Anand held interim provost roles and served as Dean and Professor at both Ball State University's Teachers College and the University of Rochester's Warner School of Education and Human Development. Extensive experience includes leadership roles at prominent educational institutions, as well as a background in economics and civic education at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Anand holds a PhD in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master's degree from Stanford University, and an AB in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College.
