David Ferguson currently serves as the Dean of Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning, a position held since July 2019 after serving as Interim Dean and Associate Dean. With a faculty role at Ball State University since September 1988, Ferguson specializes in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, focusing on the intersection of design, digital innovation, and sustainability. As Associate Vice President for Emerging Media, Ferguson was instrumental in establishing the Center for Media Design, which has facilitated over 800 research projects in digital media since its inception. Ferguson's extensive leadership experience also includes roles as Executive Director of both the Center for Digital Marketing Advancement and the Center for Media Design, as well as involvement in various professional organizations. Ferguson obtained a Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
