Scott Routenberg

Scott Routenberg is an accomplished Associate Professor of Music Performance (Jazz Piano) at Ball State University since August 2012, where responsibilities include leading the Jazz Piano Studio and teaching various jazz-related courses. As a freelance composer and arranger since 1995, Scott specializes in symphonic jazz and has collaborated with Grammy-winning artists and ensembles, including work with the Metropole Orkest and Howard Levy. Scott is also a Summit Records recording artist, with albums such as "Supermoon" and "Every End is a Beginning," both receiving notable recognition in the jazz community. Educational credentials include a DMA in Jazz Composition from the University of Miami and extensive teaching experience at institutions like the University of South Florida and Miami Dade College.
