Chris Gerakiteys

Chris Gerakiteys has extensive experience in fundraising, publishing, and geological exploration. Currently serving as the Acting Head of Fundraising and Major Gifts Officer at Grampians Health since March 2022, responsibilities include cultivating major philanthropic gifts, managing biannual fundraising appeals, and overseeing project identification and media promotion. Prior to this, Chris worked at Jacaranda as a Publisher and Publishing Editor, focusing on the development of educational resources in the Science-Maths field. A background in geology includes roles as Exploration Geologist at BHP Billiton and Mount Isa Mines, and as a Scientific Editor at the Geological Survey of NSW. Chris holds a Master of Communications from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geosciences from the University of Sydney.
