Michael Walker

Michael Walker has extensive experience in fundraising and financial services, serving as a Major Gifts Officer at Old Dominion University since October 2019, after holding the position of Director of Development at Hampton University from January 2016 to October 2019. Prior to that, Michael worked in various leadership roles at BB&T, overseeing sales performance and coaching teams, and at Wachovia Bank, where responsibilities included branch management and community banking. Michael's career began at Central Fidelity National Bank, with a focus on management and customer relations. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Old Dominion University.
