Maria Penn

Maria Penn currently serves as the Talent Acquisition Lead at Grampians Health, having started in April 2024. Prior to this role, Maria accumulated extensive experience at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust from July 2012 to December 2023, where titles included Benefit and Change Manager, HR Advisor, and Human Resources Assistant, with responsibilities ranging from managing HR policies to implementing new recruitment software and supporting overseas nurses. Earlier career experience includes work as a Parent Support Officer at Hull City Council and as Project Manager for a music project in the voluntary sector, along with a background as Executive Secretary/Admin Services Manager at Toowong Private Hospital from February 1994 to October 2001. Maria holds a Foundation degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Hull College.
