Graham Hill has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Graham is currently working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Ballard Motive Solutions, where they are focused on developing procedures and best practices for delivering mechanical design solutions for hydrogen fuel cell-powered heavy-duty vehicles.
Prior to this, Graham gained valuable experience at Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology. Graham started as a CAM Programmer, responsible for manufacturing complex Formula One car components and designing machining jigs and fixtures. Graham then transitioned to the role of Jig and Tools Design Engineer, where they designed the jigs, tools, and rigs required for manufacturing car components. During this time, they also worked as a Systems Design Engineer, contributing to the mechanical design of car components and assemblies.
Before joining Red Bull, Graham worked at Inflite Engineering Services Limited as a CAM Programmer, programming 5-axis milling machines for aerospace components using Hyper Mill CAM software.
Their early career was at BBF CNC Machining, where they started as a CNC Machinist/Programmer and completed an Engineering NVQ and Apprenticeship. In their later years at BBF, they took on the responsibility of setting, operating, and offline programming the high-speed machining section, producing high precision components for the motorsports and medical industries using Mastercam X CAM software.
Graham Hill attended Barnfield College Technology Centre from 2001 to 2003. During this period, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering and obtained a City & Guilds qualification. In addition to their formal education, Graham has also pursued various certifications. In October 2022, they obtained a certification in "Systems Thinking for Product Designers" from LinkedIn. In March 2023, they completed certifications in "Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud: 1 Projects, Boards, and Issues" and "Scrum: The Basics" through LinkedIn.
