Ballerine

Ballerine helps global payment companies and marketplaces with onboarding, underwriting, and the ongoing management of risks associated with their merchants, sellers, transactions, and products. It integrates dozens of services and data sources into one contract, offering a single point of integration or case management. This holistic approach allows companies to manage payment-facilitation risks effectively, without the need to invest substantial resources into connecting multiple services or understanding how to construct these processes based on best practices throughout the merchant lifecycle. The platform is founded on an open-source core, granting companies maximum flexibility to customize it according to their specific use cases when necessary. We are engineers and risk nerds who are always happy to provide good advice regarding vendors and best practices, so feel free to challenge us with any questions ✊ The company is backed by top investors and leaders from Y Combinator, Team8 Capital, Vera Equity, Trulioo, Venmo, Melio, Brex, Plaid, and more.
