Ashley Edwards has a diverse work experience, having held positions at multiple companies since 2013. Ashley began their career as a Textbook Sales Associate at Kennesaw State University Bookstore in 2013. In 2015, they held internships at F&W Style and Carla Ja Sports and Entertainment, where they assisted with social media planning and execution, event planning and execution, and monitored media for client coverage. That same year, they also held a Front Desk Receptionist position at Ed Voyles Automotive Group. In 2016, they were a Marketing Assistant at L&M Electric, where they advocated for and implemented new office practices, established the first marketing program for the organization, and developed innovative ways to enhance and grow the organization's brand. Ashley also held a Client Relations Manager position at Gulf Atlantic Pacific Company Ltd. that same year, where they established and maintained relationships with individuals and business customers and provided assistance with client issues. In 2017, they were a Medical Administrative Assistant at Northlake Pediatric Associates, where they created and maintained confidential patient files and implemented electronic health record systems. In 2019, they held a USPIS Project Manager position at DGS, where they managed contract compliance for a $100M deal between Delta Global Services and the United States Postal Service, managed the onboarding postal clearance process for all new hires and re-hires across 31 airport stations, and appraised postal applications for 31 airport stations. Ashley also held a Democracy Program Intern position at The Carter Center that same year, where they provided administrative and research support for the ACE Electoral Knowledge Network and researched topics of concern. In 2021, they are a Research Coordinator and Electoral Fellow at BallotReady.

Ashley Edwards attended Kennesaw State University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. Ashley then returned to Kennesaw State University from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in International Policy Analysis.
