Megan Krout has a diverse range of work experiences. Megan started their most recent position as a Remote Researcher at BallotReady in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Volunteer at Kindred Kitties, a local cat shelter, starting in 2013. In 2018, Megan worked as a Remote Researcher at BallotReady, where they researched past election results and contacted local governments and election officials for data. Megan also held a role as a Research Specialist at the University of Chicago in 2018, where they worked in the Neurobiology unit studying Alzheimer's Disease. Megan also has experience as a Seasonal Cashier at Target in 2016 and as a Teaching Assistant at the Cesar Chavez Learning Center from 2015 to 2017.
Megan Krout obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Carthage College from 2013 to 2017. In addition, they obtained several certifications including DCSF Mandated Reporter from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, SBS/Traumatic Brain Injury: Training from Gateways to Opportunity, and SIDS/SUID/AAP Safe Sleep Training from Gateways to Opportunity in July 2017.
