Brendan McCarthy has extensive work experience in the hospitality and sports industries. Brendan is currently the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Ballyhoo Hospitality since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at KemperSports, where they held multiple roles over a span of 13 years. Brendan'smost recent role at KemperSports was the National Director of Sales, Marketing & Revenue Management from January 2021 to June 2022. Brendan was responsible for designing and implementing marketing and sales programs across the managed portfolio of properties. Before that, they served as the National Director of Sales, Marketing from 2013 to 2021, where they oversaw national marketing initiatives and mentored regional and corporate staff. From 2009 to 2013, Brendan worked as the Regional Sales and Marketing Director for the central region of the US at KemperSports. In this role, they developed brand and marketing strategies for 30 properties and led consumer research and revenue management initiatives.

Prior to joining KemperSports, Brendan worked at Vail Resorts. Brendan held various roles at Vail Resorts from 1997 to 2009, including Director of Marketing and Sr. Marketing Manager. Brendan also served as the Sr. Marketing Manager - Breckenridge from 1997 to 2002. In these positions, they were responsible for marketing and promotional activities for Vail Resorts.

Brendan McCarthy attended Loyola Academy for an unspecified period of time. Brendan then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a focus on Marketing and Art at the University of Denver from 1993 to 1997. Subsequently, Brendan continued their education at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) between 1998 and 2000.
