Manish Purohit is the VP, Audit & Cane Operations at Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd. Manish has over 20 years of experience in various aspects of finance and accounting.
Purohit started their career in 2000 as an Audit Manager with Emami Limited. Manish was responsible for auditing various locations including factories, sales depot, publicity dept., central purchase dept. and head office. Manish also prepared audit reports and ensured compliance of the same.
In 2001, Purohit joined Ashika Credit Capital Limited as VP Merchant Banking Division. Manish was responsible for the merchant banking division of the company.
Purohit joined Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd in 2003 and has been with the company ever since. In their current role, they are responsible for the audit and cane operations of the company.
Manish Purohit completed a Diploma in Information System Audit from an accredited institution. Manish then went on to complete a Bachelor of Commerce from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. After completing their undergraduate degree, Manish Purohit pursued a Certification in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Manish also holds Certifications in IFRS and Internal Audit from other well-renowned institutions.
Manish Purohit reports to Vivek Saraogi, Managing Director. They are on a team with Ujjwal Sarkar - GM, Sales & Marketing, Praveen Gupta - Execitive President, CTT, and Pramod Patwari - CFO.
