Saulius Daraska

Saulius Daraska has extensive work experience in the software development field. Saulius started their career as a Lead Programmer at Kaunas Real Estate Agency in 2002. From there, they became an IT Administrator at Kaunas College, where they focused on computer network and Windows server administration. In 2004, they joined UAB "Infotop" as a Technical Consultant, providing clients with advice on IT systems design, development, integration, and maintenance. Saulius then moved to UAB "Verslo Programos", UVS Group, where they worked as a Software Testing Engineer, creating and integrating software testing methodology and testing POS and payment systems. In 2005, Saulius became the Head of the Software Testing and Integration Department at the same company.

In 2006, Saulius joined Valcon International as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented software for Emerson "Ovation" distributed control system and developed Advance OPC mapper software. Since 2012, they have been working at Baltic Amadeus as a Senior Developer/Tech. Lead, participating in various large-scale software development projects, primarily using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and occasionally C/C++.

Saulius Daraska completed their secondary education at "Aido" Secondary School from 1988 to 2000. Saulius then pursued higher education at Kaunas University of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA: Web Applications in September 2016, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in November 2015, MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 in November 2015, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate in November 2019.
