Alfred Booth

Alfred Booth is an accomplished Data Scientist and Quantitative Researcher currently employed at The Baltic Exchange, where responsibilities include managing Data Insights and providing quantitative expertise for product development and quality assurance of FCA regulated benchmarks. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist and Python Developer at IntelliBonds Ltd, where Alfred contributed to the creation of a Machine Learning backend repository using Python, SQL, Docker, and Azure tools. Additional experience includes a summer internship focused on credit rating prediction using machine learning and a position as a Data Analyst at SThree, where econometric analyses significantly influenced the internal hiring process. Alfred holds a Master's degree in Computational Finance from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Bath, supplemented by a Data Analyst Nanodegree from Udacity.
