William McQuade has extensive experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on energy efficiency, environmental concerns, sustainability, and Decarbonization. Most recently, they held the position of Vice President Regulatory Affairs at Baltimore Aircoil Company. Prior to that, they served as President of W. F. McQuade Management and Advocacy Consulting, LLC, where they provided consulting services in the HVAC industry. William also held various roles at Johnson Controls, including Executive Director of Global Energy and Sustainability Policy and Director of Technology and Innovation. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Government and Industrial Affairs at Johnson Controls, Building Efficiency. Earlier in their career, they served as the Engineering Manager at York International.
William McQuade has a strong educational background with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. William earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University in the years 1987 to 1991. Following this, they pursued further studies and obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University in the years 1991 to 1992. William then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Penn State University from 1993 to 1998, specializing in Business Administration.
In addition to their degrees, William McQuade has also obtained additional certifications. In October 2008, they became a LEED Accredited Professional through the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). Furthermore, in August 1998, they received the Professional Engineer certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs.
