Robert Ballinger

Robert Ballinger is an experienced public health and communications professional with a diverse background in government and community outreach. Currently serving as the Administrator of Community Health and Mobile Response Team for the Baltimore City Health Department since January 2020, Robert leads efforts in the COVID-19 Vaccine Initiative, focusing on public health outreach and mobile vaccination clinics. Prior roles include Case Investigation Supervisor, Fellow/Assistant Scheduler in the Office of Congressman in Pennsylvania, and Assistant to the Chief of Staff at the Maryland Department of the Environment. Robert has also held significant positions such as Director of Communications for the Maryland Department of the Environment and Assistant Director for Adoption & Foster Care Recruitment within the Baltimore City Department of Social Services, showcasing a strong commitment to community service and effective communication strategies. Educational qualifications include a BA in Communications and Political Science from McDaniel College and training from the Leadership Institute.
