Natalie Edington has extensive work experience in the library field. Natalie began their career as a Librarian I at the Enoch Pratt Free Library / State Library Resource Center in 1998. Natalie then worked at the Anne Arundel County Public Library, where they held various roles including Librarian I, Area Librarian II, Branch Manager, and Western Area Supervisor. In 2016, they joined the Baltimore County Public Library (BCPL) as the Chief Customer Experience Officer (Assistant Director).

Natalie Edington obtained a Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from the University of Maryland from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, graduating between 1992 and 1996.
