Jennifer Herwig

Profile

Jen Herwig is vice president of human resources for BGE and is responsible for the company's human resources and occupational health services activities. She has served in this role since June 2020. She reports to the CEO of BGE, as well as the chief human resources officer for Exelon Corporation.

Professional History

Prior to her role at BGE, Herwig was vice president of human resources for Constellation. Since 2016, Herwig directed all human resources efforts supporting Constellation's commercial retail and wholesale business. In this role, she was responsible for driving the Talent Management strategy, evolving culture programs and employee engagement, supporting leadership development, and furthering business objectives.

With 25 years of progressive human resources experience across various industries, Herwig has held leadership roles at Under Armour, Wells Fargo and T. Rowe Price. Herwig served as vice president of human resources at Under Armour, as the business partner lead for the Product Organization, a global operation with 1,200 employees across multiple locations. Additionally, she led the organizational design and rollout of the Global Merchandising and Category Management organizations.

Previously, Herwig was the executive director for human resources for Constellation’s corporate businesses, including Finance, Risk, Supply Chain, Human Resources, IT, Legal and Regulatory. She also served as one of the human resources co-leads for designing the new company BSC structure during the Exelon/Constellation merger.
