Sam duPont has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Sam started their career as a Legislative Correspondent and later became a Legislative Assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives. Sam then worked as a Business Development Associate at Hardwire LLC, where they managed industrial development bonds and successfully applied for SAFETY Act Protection for a product line. Sam also worked at DNV KEMA Energy and Sustainability, focusing on smart grid project management and operations strategy. Sam then joined Arcadia Everywhere, LLC as the Director of Operations and Business Development, followed by a role at Waggl, Inc, where they handled sales processes, strategy, and development. Sam also worked at Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a Sr. Marketing Programs Consultant. Sam later joined Travelers Rest Enterprises as a Principal before joining Baltimore Gas & Electric. At Baltimore Gas & Electric, Sam held various positions, including BGEPAC Manager - Strategy and Regulatory Affairs, where they managed a political fundraising events and the growth of BGEPAC. Sam also worked as a Principal Business Analyst, leading the development of projects and grant applications. Currently, Sam is serving as the Principal Business Program Manager, Transportation Electrification at Baltimore Gas & Electric.
Sam duPont attended St. Andrew's School from 1995 to 1999, where they completed their high school education. Sam then went on to attend Davidson College from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. In 2008, they enrolled in the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and graduated in 2010 with a Master's in Business Administration, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
