Ben Reed

Ben Reed is a Scouting Analyst for the Baltimore Orioles since January 2022, following a role as a Scouting Analyst Fellow within the same organization. Prior to this, Ben worked as a Baseball Analysis Writer for Pitcher List from November 2020 to January 2022 and held various positions at Oberlin College, including a varsity baseball player, instructor of an advanced statistics course on baseball, and independent researcher. Ben participated in the Oberlin Business Scholars Program, which focuses on business and finance education. Additional experience includes a position in Baseball Strategy and Player Personnel with the Lancaster Barnstormers and a guest contribution on research for Fangraphs, Inc. Ben Reed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College with a major in Economics and minors in Law & Society, History, and Politics.
