Bob Hughes

Bob Hughes, CMA, has extensive experience in customer relationship management within Major League Baseball, serving the Baltimore Orioles since February 2020 and previously with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2014 to February 2020. Prior to their roles in sports, Bob had a long tenure at IBM from 1978 to 2011, where Bob held various senior management positions including Executive Consultant in Governance Risk Compliance and North America Accounting Operations Manager, leading initiatives that resulted in significant cost savings. Bob also served as Assistant Controller at Girton Manufacturing Co., Inc. from 1976 to 1978. Educational credentials include a BS in Accounting from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, an Executive Program in Graduate Accounting from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with studies at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Cornell University ILR School.
