Lydia Moon

Lydia Moon is a skilled forensic scientist with extensive experience in DNA analysis, currently serving as a Forensic Scientist II-DNA Analyst at the Baltimore Police Department since October 2018. In this role, Lydia Moon processes DNA casework and reference samples through various stages, including DNA extraction, quantitation, amplification, and capillary electrophoresis, while also maintaining DNA instruments and reagents. Lydia Moon's academic background includes a Master of Science in Forensic Science from Towson University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Marywood University. Additionally, involvement in forensic science initiatives included serving as a Graduate Assistant at Towson University and an internship at the Baltimore Police Department.
