Matt Maher

Matt Maher currently serves as the Grants and Reporting Officer for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, a position held since December 2022. Prior experience includes Foundation Grants Manager at Maryland Legal Aid from June 2021 to December 2022, and multiple roles at Port Discovery Children's Museum from 2013 to 2021, including Corporate and Government Relations Manager, Development Specialist, Development Associate, and Grants Associate. Key responsibilities at Port Discovery encompassed grant writing, managing corporate sponsorship applications, overseeing membership programs, and database management. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Site Supervisor for Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County and acting as a Tutor and Liaison for America Reads. Maher holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from Denison University (2008-2012) and has also studied at Queen's University Belfast.
