Federico Chavarria

Federico Chavarria currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Asia Business Development at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since May 2016, having previously held the position of Director in Business Development. Prior to this role, Federico was Director of Equity Sales at Evercore ISI from March 2011 to May 2016, where responsibilities included managing European-based institutional clients and overseeing the launch of the ISI London initiative. Early in the career, Federico gained experience as an intern in Equity Sales and Fundamental Research at ISI Group and worked as Assistant Manager at Grupo Servica. Federico holds an M.B.A. in Supply Chain Management and Entrepreneurship and an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering, both from the University of Oklahoma.
