Michael Sfera

Michael Sfera is an experienced professional in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Director of US Equity Operations at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since July 2010. With a background in middle office operations and settlements gained during tenure at Citigroup and Old Lane, Michael has a strong focus on equity and credit settlements along with managing trade and position breaks involving administrators and prime brokers. Prior to these roles, Michael held a position as a Senior Associate at UBS. Education includes a B.B.A. in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University, completed in 2000.
